  • Grant Deed for Principal Residence into Revocable Living Trust*
  • Preliminary Change of Ownership Report for California County Tax  Assessors (to avoid a reassessment of property taxes)

To begin taking full advantage of your coverage, please call toll-free at 800-689-4211 now with your plan case number and/or other proof of coverage, depending upon your specific plan.

After they confirm the nature and extent of your coverage, we will send you our welcome package with instructions and our Estate Planning Organizer for you to compete and return to us for review.

We will then go over the Estate Planning Organizer and request any required additional information from you in order to complete first drafts of all the forms listed above.

After editing the first drafts, all the above-listed forms will be sent to you by email (unless you indicate a preference for regular mail).

After your review of the draft documents, call us to set up a meeting to discuss, review, correct, sign and notarize your documents.  We offer free notarization services by appointment at both our Rancho Bernardo and Pittsburg offices, saving you over $200.  We then scan your original documents, and archive them to your electronic client file with multiple backups.  Then the original documents are bound in an attractive covered binder and provided to you for your safekeeping.

We also handle the recording of the Deed to your principal residence and processing of the required Preliminary Change of Ownership Report with the County Tax Assessor.  You pay only the nominal recording fees, typically $20 to $30.  We can also provide deeds and forms beyond your coverage for an additional fee.

Upon request, we can also provide you with a complete electronic version of your signed and notarized documents by email to you.  You then may share this file with your successor Trustees and others.

The Littorno Law Group has provided comprehensive estate, tax, probate, VA and Medi-Cal benefit planning services to over four thousand families since 1979.  We very much welcome the opportunity to serve you and provide peace of mind.
